We're seeking an exceptional Remote Sensing Engineer to work on our geospatial AI/ML solutions. You'll be at the forefront of developing innovative approaches to process and analyze Earth Observation data, contributing to projects that have real-world impact.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Build geospatial Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning solutions to solve scientific challenges for our clients.

Perform literature surveys and document state-of-the-art Remote Sensing methodologies for application development.

Handle and process Remote Sensing data from various satellite platforms.

Design technical approaches and solutions involving Remote Sensing and geospatial information, estimating the effort involved.

Generate scientific and technical notes during relevant project phases.

Propose and perform feasibility studies for new developments and application areas.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
-
Knowledge of satellite platforms operating in the earth observation field (Sentinel, Landsat, Cosmo-SkyMed, etc.) and principles of active and passive optic, infrared, and microwave sensors.

At least 2 years of experience in image analysis and Remote Sensing massive data processing using a code-based approach (particularly Python, with geospatial libraries like GDAL, geopandas, xarray).

Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Capacity for planning and taking initiative in an IT environment applied to scientific endeavours.

Ability to write maintainable and well-documented code.

Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.

Fluency in written and spoken English.
