GMATICS is a SME born in 2017 that integrates satellite monitoring, aerial/drone surveys, geo-spatial databases, and Artificial Intelligence, to create digital models of reality (Digital Twins) for improving the management of cities and critical infrastructures (transport, energy, TLC) and addressing the effects of climate change underway. We are searching for a mission-oriented Earth Observation Analystto join our forward-thinking, innovative team of developers and entrepreneurs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This key role will be responsible for driving and closing new business and revenue across a variety of verticals and applications. We are looking for a highly-motivated, energetic candidate with a can-do attitude who excels at multitasking and communication skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to understand their corporate objectives, and be their trusted advisor and partner.

  • Bring the voice of the customer from market interactions and provide structured customer feedback to inform the Product roadmap

  • Successfully work with cross-functional, distributed teams including product, operations, engineering and marketing to effectively sell, service customers and provide product feedback.

  • Increase the company's knowledge of users'/customers' backgrounds including needs, regulations, and strategies.

  • Increase revenue opportunities through outbound activities and other creative sales tactics to generate prospects and qualified leads.

  • Attend industry events and conferences to connect with prospects and be one of the front-line faces of GMATICS

  • Produce high-quality deliverables (documentation, reports, presentations) and create technical/non-technical nice presentations with the input and support of the other team mates.

  • Create sales materials and content including decks, one-pagers, and email campaigns to engage customers.

WHO YOU ARE

Required

  • Technical understanding of geospatial imagery, data products, or a similar remote sensing field.
    ability to engage with client decision makers, understand and value their challenges and motivations

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Organizational, prioritization and time-management skills.

  • Experience working with technical and senior management personas.

  • Experience in proposal writing and presentation creation.

  • Previous experience within a high-growth company or team, scaling an organization and contributing to products and processes.

  • Excited about space tech, building innovative solutions and pushing the boundaries of the imagery industry. High-energy, team player mentality, self-motivated and collaborative.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Desired

  • Experience in space tech, remote sensing, geospatial and related technology.

  • Ability to generate new business opportunities.

  • Previous B2B sales experience

  • Knowledge of SEO
